"Time is the fire in which we burn." - Delmore Schwartz

I love hourglasses. I'm actually using a 15 minute one right now to help me focus on writing this post. There's something about the falling sand that is quite motivating. However, there are some obvious problems with hourglasses. They're are locked into their timings and if you need to reset one, you're going to need to wait awhile. All of these problems are solved with this cool new Tempo Hourglass.

This is the world's first adjustable time hourglass that can be set to 5 minutes, 15 minutes, or 25 minutes (no hour!?) and has a built-in quick reset button to release all the sand at once. It's perfect for setting quick timers on tasks like writing amazing posts like this on TheGreenHead.com, reading, meditating, relaxing, working out, cooking, and more. Check out the video below to see it in action.

The Flying Alarm Clock is quite possibly the most annoying and frustrating alarm ever created. When the alarm sounds, it launches a spinning rotor 9 feet up into the air. The alarm will not turn off until you wake up, get out of bed, fetch the lost rotor, which could have landed anywhere in the dark, and return it to the clock base. By forcing you to think about finding that missing rotor and making you stumble around the bedroom, you have a much better chance of actually staying awake.
